Er. Pankaj Lakhanpal,Director

Er. Pankaj Lakhanpal is an Electrical Engineering graduate from National Institute of Technology Hamirpur (H.P.). He turned to entrepreneurship by joining Competitive Coaching Institute and Him Academy Public School. He proved his versatility by becoming a dynamic educational leader with a futuristic vision in the school and academy which helped the school to receive Computer Literacy Award by the then President of India Mr. Abdul Kalam. Apart from coaching students for Competitive Examination, he has to his credit the rich experience of developing study packages for academic and competitive exams. He has worked on developing students He has worked on developing students' ,target setting and tracking system' in collaboration with U.K. He is a creative person working keenly on publishing books for various competitive exams and supplementary study packages for schools. Under his dynamic leadership as director of the institute with a vast experience of 23 years, he has become a force behind the success story of Him Academy Public School, the best boarding school in India.

Er. Naina Lakhanpal,Administrator

An alumna of National Institute of Technology Hamirpur in Computer Science and Engineering Mrs. Naina Lakhanpal turned to start her career in Him Academy Public School, one of the top schools in India in 2005. Her passion for teaching dragged her to the commitment of all round development of students. She involved her efforts to provide global dimensions to the curriculum by initiating the partnership with schools in U.K., South Korea, Russia and Italy. She gave wide exposure to school activities by making the school a member of Round Square and IAYP. She has 23 years of experience in teaching and administration to her credit till date. She has been nominated as British Council School Ambassador in 2011. She has participated and presented papers in various national and international conferences in India and abroad.

Dr. Himanshu Sharma,Principal - Academics

Dr (Mrs) Himanshu is an engineer turned educational entrepreneur. She has been instrumental in adding International dimension to school curriculum by building international school partnership with schools in UK and Australia. She has also conceptualized and developed supplementary study packages for Kindergarten to Elementary grade students in English, Hindi, and Mathematics. She is a recipient of Endeavour Executive Award (2008) from Australian Government for studying Educational Measurement and Assessment. She is also an alumna of 6th Asia Pacific School Leadership Academy held in Seoul in October 2015. Her research papers and articles have been published in the journals and magazines of repute. She is an innovative practitioner and passionate educationist. Her value education project, 'Student Empowerment through Values in Action' has been accepted as Best School Practices-2016 in Asia Pacific Region by Asia Pacific center of Education for International Understanding (APCEIU), Seoul under the auspices of UNESCO.

Shashi Bala,Principal

Mrs Shashi Bala joined this institution in May 1998. She did her graduation and post graduation from H.P. University Shimla. She has done her B.Ed from IGNOU. She has been rendering her services in Him Academy Public School for the last 22 years. She worked as PGT English, HOD, Personality Development Officer and Dean of Studies of the School. At present, she has been working as Academic co-ordinator and N.S.S. programme officer.

Mr. Rohit Sharma ,PGT - Coaching Coordinator, Expert in JEE/NEET/NDA coaching

A graduate in BSc-Medical from H.P.U. Shimla and Post Graduate in Chemistry from P.U. Chandigarh. Did his B. Ed. from prestigious Army Institute of Higher Education Pathankot. Worked as PGT Chemistry in D.A.V. Sen. Sec. School Una (HP). Has been working in Him Academy since Nov. 2014. Presently PGT Chemistry and Coaching Co-ordinator in HAPS-Hiranagar. He has shown exceptional ability to establish cooperative, professional relationships with parents, staff and administration.

Dr. Neeta Singh,PGT - (Co-ordinator Assessment & Evaluation)

She has done her schooling from West Point School, Darjeeling. She has successfully completed M. Phil in English from H.P.U. She has done B. Ed. from IGNOU.She has completed Ph.D in English. She started her career as a soft skill trainer in ICFAI University. She has also worked as Assistant professor in Career Point University. She joined Him Academy Public School in 2013 as PGT English. She is a self-starter with high energy enabling maximum and efficient work under pressure.

Mrs. Pooja Sharma,TGT – Science – A/C Coordinator (1st to 8th)

His initial schooling took place in local Govt. School. He did graduation from H.P.University, Shimla and Post graduation in (History) from Punjab University, Chandigarh. Mr. Vipan Sharma got commissioned from the NCC officer’s Training Academy Kamptee, Maharashtra after successful completion of 90 days training. He has been part of the Him Academy Family since 2002. He is a graduate in Computer application and has also done GNIIT from NIIT. He has been involved with training of children in sports, co-curricular activities, adventure sports and NCC. He is a enthusiastic and energetic professional dedicated to providing students with the abilities and potential to master the necessary skills to become responsible, well-educated members of the community.

Mrs. Poonam Chauhan has been rendering her services in Him Academy Public School Hiranagar since 2017. She is Graduate in Arts, Bachelor in Education and Masters in Hindi from H.P.U. Shimla.
