Academic Facilities

HAPS makes the learning process pleasurable by providing a happy and stimulating educational environment. Students are inspired to work hard to achieve their aims and objectives right from nursery to senior secondary level. This helps them to inculcate life skills. A diverse range of learning experience is provided to broaden the vision of the pupils. School promotes an environment of discovery based learning. There are opportunities for children to work as a part of the class or a smaller group and as individuals. We aim at holistic development of the students to make them life long learners by developing their skills as academic achievers, keen collaborative learners, composite and progressive thinkers, effective communicators and principled citizens.

Instructional work is carried out by highly qualified and experienced staff. Teachers are well versed in smart classroom techniques. Besides courses of study students are encouraged to use library facility for extra reading to develop good study habits.

Students are exposed to National and International Olympiads (SOF, NTSE, IBT, IAPT) in the subjects of English, Mathematics and science. Teaching through traditional lecture method has been replaced with the latest student-centred method- Active Learning. Emphasis is laid on developing conceptual understanding of subject matter.

2. Every academic year has been partitioned into two terms :

First Term : April to September

Second Term : October to March-

At primary level, knowledge is bestowed through Experiential Learning. The exercises are presented through Guided Visualization/Silent Sitting. It makes the goal of learning deliberate as well as a glad encounter for the students. Learning-by-doing is stressed upon as it advances collaboration, participation, positive commitment and along these lines has a never-ending effect on their young personalities.
