NCC is a Tri-Service Organization comprising the Army, Naval and Air Force, engaged in grooming the youth – “The Leaders of Tomorrow” into disciplined and patriotic citizens. They are given professional training which includes marching, weapon training, and first aid. The cadets attend Annual Training Camps every year and participate in a number of competitions. These disciplined Cadets learn to live and work for others with pride and dignity.
HAPS Hamirpur holds the Army Wing NCC Unit which was started in the year 2010. Today we have a contingent of 50 Cadets. The students who become cadets after joining the NCC are both boys and girls. NCC in the school campus is under 4HP(I)COY NCC Hamirpur. Each year one Annual Training Camp is arranged by the unit where a number of activities are organized. Aim of NCC activities is to prepare the cadet academically and physically for entry into NDA and other walks of life.NCC training is an integral part of this school training program, Parades, Range Firing, Community service are conducted on a regular basis. They are awarded the NCC “A” certificate on completion of their two-year training.
